Dot Vegas Inc. is pleased to announce that the city of Las Vegas has approved a resolution of support for the company’s application to the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) for the creation and management of a .Vegas top level Internet domain.

ICANN, the not-for-profit organization tasked with coordinating and overseeing the unique system of identifiers – names or numbers – used on the Internet worldwide, is currently finalizing an application process for adding new generic top level Internet domains to the domain name system. With its extensive experience in the industry, Dot Vegas, Inc. has gathered the parts necessary to meet the stringent application requirements that are expected to be released in the near future.
